MAU stands for Monthly Active User, and refers to a single unique user of an application. Anonymous users can be tracked by session, so a single user who visits multiple times will only be counted once.
We calculate the number of unique users over your monthly billing cycle. These are only the users interacting with client-side feature flags. Users are counted just once, regardless of the devices they use to access CloudBees Feature Management or the number of sessions within the monthly billing cycle.
You only have to buy MAUs for feature flags in use on the client-side. You can create as many feature flags as you want for your backend systems without purchasing additional MAUs.
Your billing cycle begins on the day you select your plan. For example if you were to sign up on the 20th, your recurring monthly billing will process of the 20th of each month.
You can upgrade your plan anytime. If you require less horse-power, you can downgrade at the end of your monthly or yearly subscription.
Yes, we offer a fully-featured, totally free trial of CloudBees Feature Management for 14 days. You can begin your trial here.
When your free trial ends, the flags you already have in place will continue working uninterrupted for 90 days. You can continue logging into the dashboard, but you will not be able to create new deployments. Your data is safely stored in CloudBees Feature Management for 90 days after your trial ends. When you sign up for a paid account you will be able to use all the data from your trial period.
